Wow - our Book Blast is off to a great start! Congratulations to SUMMER GOFF for winning our first drawing prize: the Book Blast Treasure Chest! Our quest to level up our readers has never been so much fun! We’re blasting through our mission to earn as many books as possible for our students.

Day 2 of the Book Blast kickoff. The kids were visited by Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2. The kids are excited to earn new books. If you haven't registered for the Book Blast there is still time.

CO-MO came today to talk with our 3rd-5th graders about electrical safety.

We kicked off Read Across America week with pajamas and the teachers kicked off the start of our elementary Book Blast with their spy gear. Ask a student how you can support our Book Blast and help them and the teachers earn free books!

Congratulations to our student athletes that were named all conference in basketball!

This spring, parent-teacher conferences will be held on an invitation basis. If you are not contacted directly by your child’s teacher but would still like to schedule a conference, please use the form below to request a meeting.

Using the link above to sign up, first select the time frames that work best for you. Then, choose the teacher(s) you would like to meet with. Using this information, we will create a conference schedule for all participating families and teachers.

Your scheduled time will be sent to you either by email or home with your student. Responses will be due by tomorrow, Tuesday the 3rd, so that we can get the schedule completed.

Our Annual Book Blast Event Starts Next Week! Be watching for ways you can help our elementary students earn books!

Attention, Agents! Our Book Blast event starts next week. We will set off on a mission to build our students' home libraries. Follow the steps on the Treasure Map coming home next week to embark on this operation to earn exciting prizes and books. 🗺️🌟

Board Member Spotlight: Meet Pat Twenter Hello, my name is Patrick Twenter and I am the President of the Prairie Home RV School. I was born and raised in Boonville where I attended Saint Peter and Paul School K-8 and the graduated from Boonville High School. I am married to Holly Graff, a 1992 graduate of Prairie home. We have 3 children. Brendan,Ashlyn and Chandler. Ashlyn was a 2020 graduate of Prairie Home and Chandler is a Freshman at Prairie Home. Things we enjoy doing as a family are taking trips to Springfield MO to visit Brendan as well as trips to Peoria Illinois to visit Ashlyn and her fiancé, Reece Clapp. Also Chandler and I enjoy hunting, shooting sports and fixing up two 1954 pickups we have. As for the question of, Why I wanted to be a Board Member? The answer is, I did not. I was asked by a sitting Board Member to file as a candidate due to the lack of interest from members of the district. Soon after being elected I quickly grew a passion for education and wanting to ensure students of our district and surrounding districts had the best education and activities we could provide. I have enjoyed and appreciated my time on the Board and everyone I have worked with to make Prairie Home RV the BEST school for a students education. Thanks Pat!

Board Member Spotlight: Meet Dennis Toalson I am a retired high school teacher, have managed a 10,000 sow operation in Nebraska, owned my own feed and seed operation in Nebraska, and taught Agriculture in a Nebraska college for 20 years. I live in Prairie Home with my wife Bobette. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. We love to travel, and I enjoy working with young people as I officiate softball and baseball games. I wanted to become a board member because young people are important to this country and I like to help them succeed. We have a really good education system here and I am privileged to help it keep going and improve it. My wife and I like being involved in the community and helping young people. What a great place to live! Thanks Dennis

Pre-K Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year begins on March 24th. Tuition will remain at $300 per month. Applications can be found online at https://aptg.co/4jjRv4 and also in the school office.
