School Pictures & Retakes: If you would still like to order pictures online please call the school for the code and internet address. Orders completed now will have to be paid to be shipped to your home. Our picture retakes are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 7th. Book Fair is Oct 1st-Oct 10th it will be open 8:00-3:30 daily with Oct 10th open during Title I Reading night.

Title I Reading Night Oct 10th parents and students will read and listen to books read by special reader and participate in a STEM activity.

"Stop the Bleed" will be held Oct. 16 in the cafeteria for grades 3-12 in a presentation to how students can react to emergency situations. It is sponsored by the 4-H Club.

Thank you Prairie Home United Methodist Church, CTA, and PTO for the lunches they supplied during the Teacher In-services. Teachers appreciated the great meals and community support as they prepare for the coming year.

Teachers at the CCAA Conference Professional Development Day took part in meetings that included Dyslexia Training, Boys N Crisis, Bullying and Social Media, Emotional Poverty, Positive Classroom Environment, Motivation in the Classroom, Google Basics, School Safety, Chromebook classrooms, IEP"S, MSHSAA 101, Youth Mental Health, and Concussion Symptoms and Procedures to follow. Teachers choose 4 sessions to attend and had a full day of PD and Collaboration with teachers for grade level meetings to discuss student success in their classrooms.
