Congratulations to the Prairie Home Band for their II Rating at the CCAA Music Contest in Jamestown on Thursday, March 2nd! The following students who performed solos also did an amazing job.
Grace Hodges received a I on her flute and vocal solo, Hailey Milne and Miley Brown received a I on their flute solos, Piper Merrill received a I on her vocal solo, Madilyn Kuester received a II on her vocal solo, and Parker Gerdt received a II on his trombone solo.
The Prairie Home Booster Club is bringing you Donkey Basketball on Saturday March 18 at 7:00. We will have a food truck, Big Hungry Concessions Kettle Corn and Lunch Box that will start serving food at 5:30. We have tickets available for purchase in advance for $7.00 via an order form. We will have will call for advanced tickets to be picked up the day of the event at 6:00 (they will not be sent home or available to pick up sooner). Tickets will also be available the day of at the event for $10.00. Checks can be made out to Prairie Home Booster Club. We are also in search of Jockey's to play in the donkey basketball game. The Jockey position is open to coaches, students and community members. The requirements are that you must be 16 years or older and weight 225 lbs or less. If you are interested in purchasing tickets or participating in the donkey ball, please contact any member of our Booster Club.

We are very excited to be moving forward with our Pre-K program with an anticipated start date of August 2023. The educational impact for our students will be a great asset to our school and community. We will also be able to complete the transition of our 6th grade into junior high after a year of participating in MSHSAA junior high level sports.

The freshman class wants to say “thank you” to all the families who purchased suckers and sodas for Valentine’s Day. A big “thank you” to Dustin Ray and Mark Alpers for donating the suckers and Strawberry Crush soda to the class for their fundraiser.
A big thank you to the Boonville Women's Club for their kind and thoughtful donation to our teachers. Their donation went towards getting those home stretch supplies for our teachers. These will be much appreciated!

For those student's who have registered for the Elementary/Youth Cheer Clinic, don't forget the practices on tomorrow, Feb. 10th and Monday, Feb. 13th . Both will start at 3:15 p.m. and the students will need to be picked up by 4:30 p.m. They will perform at the Varsity Basketball games on Tuesday, Feb. 14th.
Come support the 3rd & 4th Grade as they play for 1st place at the Pilot Grove Tournament tonight. Girls play at 6:30 p.m. and the Boys play at 7:30 p.m.
