Congratulations to our junior high and high school school-wide science fair winners! The CCAA science fair contest will take place January 24-26 at Prairie Home.

Due to some carried over road conditions, current precipitation, and bitter cold in the morning, we will run snow routes tomorrow, Friday, January 19.

Snow Routes, Thursday January 18
Due to continued poor road conditions on parts of our gravel routes and the threat of a refreeze tomorrow morning, we will be on snow routes again tomorrow.

There will be archery practice today and tomorrow (1/17 and 1/18). There is no bus over for practices so students will need rides.

Buses will be running snow routes tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17. Please contact your driver if your child's transportation will be changed from normal.

Fun and games!

Classroom fun!

Me and My Special Someone Dance - Saturday, January 27th

No School: Tuesday, January 16th
After much consideration, it has been decided that there will be no school tomorrow. While our goal is to get students back in the building, the dangerously cold temperatures and the threat of buses not being able to complete their routes with students on board makes that decision difficult. Our building, especially the elementary side and gym area, are struggling to keep up with the cold with several classrooms not reaching acceptable temperatures for student safety and quality learning. Evening activities are also cancelled.
We look forward to having students back on Wednesday and are continuing to take proactive steps to ensure that our buses will be ready to go and our classrooms will be warmer with the rising temperatures.

The Archery tournament at Tipton tomorrow has been cancelled due to predicted weather conditions.

No School: Friday, January 12
The national weather service and local stations are predicting rain, snow, and falling temperatures, potentially leading to icy roads, throughout the school day tomorrow. To ensure our students, staff, and buses will not have to commute home in dangerous conditions, there will be no school tomorrow: Friday, January 12.
As a reminder, we will not have school on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Enjoy the weekend, stay safe, and see you back on Tuesday!

Please consider signing up to donate. Units donated help to provide scholarships for our Seniors.

School will be in session tomorrow, Thursday, January 11. Due to continued poor conditions on gravel, we will be running snow routes for the day. Please contact your driver if your child will not be riding the bus as usual.

Homecoming Game Rescheduled:
Due to the anticipated weather on Friday, the impact the weather has had on Homecoming week, and the many other moving parts involved, we will move Homecoming and all of its festivities to February 9th. More information will be shared as the date approaches.

Due to the possibility of overnight/morning freezing and continued poor road conditions on gravel and secondary highways, school will not be in session tomorrow, January 10. Stay safe!

Thank you all for the patience and cooperation as we released early today. As the forecast calls for continued precipitation and road conditions continue to be poor, we will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday January 9th. Stay warm and safe!

Early release today at 2:15 due to road conditions. There will be no after school activities.

We will be releasing at 2:15 pm today due to road conditions. We will also be running snow routes. Please contact the office if your child's transportation plan needs to change from normal.
