Junior High and High School science fair projects competed against Jamestown, Bunceton, Calvary Lutheran, and Pilot Grove this past week. Congratulations to Blake Gerke and Jordyn Alpers on winning their divisions, and to all of our students for an amazing contest!

The game @ Bunceton on 1/22 will be girls only.
Due to the cancellation of the games last night and continued closure of school today, our teams will not be participating in the New Franklin tournament this year.
We are actively working on adding make up games and will provide updates as those dates become official.
After assessing progress of roads today and taking into account the refreeze and weather coming in, we will be closed again tomorrow, Friday January 10.
Due to ongoing poor road conditions, we will not be participating in the New Franklin basketball tournament tonight. This decision was required to be made early in the day due to the nature of planning a tournament with 8 different districts involved. While improvement has been made on main roads, many side roads and outer highways remain covered and unsafe for travel, especially at the late hours that students would be returning after the games. We are working with the involved athletic departments for what the plan forward looks like.
We have not made a decision on school tomorrow and will continue to monitor the outer highways that are necessary for the safe execution of snow routes in our buses. We will send out notice when that decision has been made.
