Last spring, the district was awarded with a school safety grant from the State of Missouri. With these funds, we were able to update/replace several systems to go along with our district funded Z-lock lockdown systems that were purchased and installed last fall. We updated our exterior kitchen door and interior door to the office, put in an automated access control for main entrances, added speakers to tie in an intercom system to our phones, installed a secure window into our main office, and will be finishing an update and expansion of our camera system. These updates go a long way in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff!

In accordance with state statute 160.077, the district recently conducted a test of all water sources for their level of lead within school-owned buildings. The results can be found under the documents folder on the school webpage. None of the main sources for drinking or cooking were found to have EPA designated elevated levels. Some other areas will be retested and remediation will occur after those results are in. Until then, those areas will undergo daily flushing before use to ensure their safety.
