                Lunch – Sausage Patty, Pancake w/Syrup, Tri-Tator, Fruit Juice, Milk

                Alternate – Ham

 Thurs:    Breakfast – Sausage Gravy with Biscuits or Cereal, Fruit, Milk or Juice

                Lunch – Pork Roast, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans, Hot Roll, Fruit Cobbler,                                             Milk

                Alternate – None

 Fri:          Breakfast – Pancake Wrap w/Syrup or Cereal, Fruit, Milk or Juice

                Lunch – Sloppy Joe on Bun, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Fruit, Milk

                Alternate – Fish Sticks on Bun

Christmas Break:  Our PHS Christmas Break will begin with an early dismissal at 12:30 p.m. on Weds., Dec. 21st and classes will resume on Weds., Jan. 4th.

Finals Schedule:  The schedule for the 1st semester finals will be as follows:  Monday, Dec. 19th – 1st, 3rd and 6th hours.  Tuesday, Dec. 20th – 2nd, 5th and 7th hours.  Wednesday, Dec. 21st – 4th hour.

 Prairie Home Christmas Festival & Parade:  Be sure and join the festivities at the Prairie Home Christmas Festival

On Saturday, Dec. 10th, starting at 9:00 a.m., Craft Show at the school, Parade at 1:00 p.m., and please enjoy the Junior Class Lunch of Soup & Fixings that will start at 10:00 a.m. in the PHS cafeteria.

 PHS Christmas Program:  Please join us for a wonderful night of music at the PHS Christmas Program on Friday, Dec. 16th at 6:30 p.m.  This includes all students K-12 grades.  Please mark your calendar and join us for a magical night of entertainment.

 Food Drive Standings:  The Student Council/Beta Club Food Drive ended with over 1,118 lbs. of food and $245.00 which was donated to the Mustard Seed Food Pantry.  The classes donating the most per student and winning a pizza party are Kindergarten & First grade (who tied) and 7th grade.  Thank you to all who donated in support of our local food bank!!

 PBS Dress Up Days:  December PBS Dress-Up Days are as follows.  Receive Panther Pride points when you participate.     

Dec. 16th         Ugly Sweater Day

Dec. 19th          Pajama Day

Dec. 20th          Anything but Christmas Clothes Day

 Breakfast and Lunch Cost Changes:  Just a reminder that the price of breakfast is $1.45 and the cost for lunches from grades K-3rd is now $2.25 and 4th -12th is now $2.60.  A small extra is .75 and a large extra is $1.00.  Adult lunches are $3.15.

 Dismissal Times:  All PHS students will be dismissed daily at 3:15 p.m.  If you need to pick up your student(s) earlier than 3:15 p.m., please let the office know at 660-841-5296.

 Student Pick-Up:  If you need to change your student’s plans for the end of the day (they will be picked up, need to ride a different bus, etc.) please call the school office before 1:00 p.m. to make those changes.

 Medication:  All medication, both over-the-counter as well as prescription, must be given to the school nurse.  Serious consequences may result if a student is found with any drugs including over the counter or prescription.  First offense may result in 10 days of O.S.S.  Over-the-counter or prescription drugs may not be kept in purses, pockets, book bags, lockers or anywhere else on school grounds.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Simmons at 660-841-5296.

 Food Service:  Please be sure and keep your student’s Food Service accounts up to date.  Account balance summaries will be sent home every Friday (if your student has a negative balance it will be in parentheses).  If a student’s balance is negative, they will not be allowed “extras”.  If your student’s balance falls negative more than $5.00, they will be eating a cheese sandwich (for which they will not be charged) and milk (for which they will be charged.)

Thursday, Dec. 15th      VG/VB vs. Northwest @ WK Shootout in Sedalia       7:30 p.m.                                                                                    (At State Fair Community College – Bus leaves at 5:00 p.m.)                  

 

Friday, Dec. 16th               PHS Christmas Program in the Gym       6:30 p.m.

 

Saturday, Dec. 17th         Otterville Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament Begins
