Good Luck: Good Luck to our Prairie Home/Bunceton Basketball teams they both play in the Consolation round at the New Franklin Basketball Tournament. The Bunceton/Panther Girls team will play Sweet Springs tonight at 7:00 p.m. The bus will at 5:45 p.m. The PH Panther Boys team will play Sweet Springs on Saturday, Jan. 8th at 2:30 p.m. The bus will leave at 1:15 p.m.

School Wide Science Fair: The School Wide Science Fair will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 11th through Jan. 12th. It will be open to the public on Tuesday, Jan. 11th until 5:30 p.m.

Advisory Meeting Days for January: The advisory meeting schedule for January is as follows:
Thursday, Jan. 13th Beta Club Meeting – Mrs. Paulson’s room.
Thursday, Jan. 20th Class Meetings – Sponsor’s rooms

Congratulations: Congratulations to Parker Gerdt who won the PHS Spelling Bee that was held before the Christmas Break. The following students were the top individuals in their grades:
5th – Abbee Gann, Blake Gerke, Ruth Hodges, Xavier Cantrell.
6th – Miley Brown, Lilli Moon, Joshua Porterfield, Fatimah Alabidi.
7th – Cooper Scott, Justice Case, Chris Gomez, Vincent Foster. 
8th – Parker Gerdt, Ellie Nave, Bowen Force, Jordyn Alpers.

The two top finishers in each grade competed at the CCAA Spelling Bee @ Jamestown on Jan. 6th.

Homecoming: Homecoming Week “Boots & Bling” begins on Monday, Jan. 10th. Dress Up Days are as follows:
Monday, Jan. 10th “Kick off Your Boots & Relax” – PJ or Pajama Day
Tuesday, Jan. 11th “Country vs. Country Club” – Twin Day but Dress in Opposite
Wednesday, Jan. 12th “Western Wednesday” – Wear Western
Thursday, Jan. 13th “Anything But a Saddle” – Just like “anything but a backpack”.
Friday, Jan. 14th “Spirit Day” – Red/Black; Panther Gear

The Coronation will be held directly after the Boys game and the Homecoming Dance will be held following the Coronation until 11:00 p.m. The cost for the dance is $2.00 per person and $3.00 per couple. Outside dates must be approved by the office BEFORE the dance.

Panther P.R.I.D.E. Dress-Up Days: The PBS/Panther P.R.I.D.E. Dress-up Days are as follows: The Homecoming Dress Up Days are included in the Panther P.R.I.D.E. Dress Up Days for points.
Thursday, Jan. 20th National Penguin Awareness Day – Wear black & white
Monday, Jan. 24th International Education Day – Dress like a teacher
Friday, Jan. 28th Hat Day – Wear a hat for $1.00
