Breakfast/Lunch for Wednesday:
Breakfast – Bacon & Egg on a Bagel or Cereal, Fresh Fruit, Milk or Juice
Lunch – PB&J Sandwich, Chili w/Beans, Fresh Carrots, Fruit, Milk
Alternate – Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Early Dismissal & School Out: PHS will have an early dismissal on Thursday, Oct. 28th at 12:30p.m. due to Parent/Teacher Conferences and PHS will not be in session on Friday, Oct. 29th or Monday, Nov. 1st. Classes will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 2nd.

Congratulations: Congratulations to our Boys JH Basketball teams on their wins over Bunceton on Friday and Jamestown last night.

Red Ribbon Week: PHS will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week next week Oct. 25th – 29th. This will include Dress Up Days and a Door Decorating Contest. JH/HS will be decorating their doors during advisory and voting will be done on Wednesday. Oct. 27th. Decorations must use the Drug Free theme. Winners will be announced on Thursday, Oct. 28th. Dress Up Days will be as follows. No props (hats, etc.) please:
Wednesday – Life is a Journey (dress like a tourist) 
Thursday – My Future is Bright Without Drugs (wear college gear or a career outfit.)
For those participating in dress up days, you do get Panther P.R.I.D.E. points or tickets.

Scholar Bowl Practices: Scholar Bowl practices will begin this week with the HS team meeting on every Wednesday after school from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. and the JH team will meet every Thursday after school from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. beginning next Thursday, Nov. 4th. This practice schedule will be held weekly throughout the Academic Bowl season.

Pumpkin & Gourd Decorating Contest: Prizes awarded for the Top 4 entries of these groups: K-5, 6-9, 10-12, & Staff. The contest starts on Monday, Oct. 11th and judging will be done on Wednesday, Oct. 27th.

Beta Club Blood Drive: There will be a Beta Club Blood Drive on Nov. 5th in the Library from 1:00 to 5:00p.m. Anyone wishing to donate can contact Mrs. Paulson to schedule a time.

Panther P.R.I.D.E. Points: Panther P.R.I.D.E. points will be awarded to 7th - 12th grade students who participate in the Red Ribbon Dress-Up Days next week.

Panther P.R.I.D.E. Points: If you go to ANY JH or HS event, you will receive a P.R.I.D.E. point. These can be home or away events. Please take note below of the events that are taking place this week.

Friday, Oct. 29th No School
JH Basketball @ New Franklin (The bus will leave at 4:45 p.m.) 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 30th District Cross Country @ Linn High School
Boys will start at 2:00 p.m. and Girls will start at 2:45 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 1st No School
