Alternate – BBQ Rib Sandwich

Wed: Breakfast – French Toast or Cereal, Fresh Fruit, Milk or Juice
Lunch – Turkey Club Sandwich, Fresh Broccoli, Fruit, Milk
Alternate – Tuna Salad Sandwich

Thurs: Breakfast – Sausage Gravy with Biscuits or Cereal, Fruit, Milk or Juice
Lunch – Taco Salad, Refried Beans, Fruit, Milk
Alternate – Chicken Quesadilla

Fri: Breakfast – Sausage Biscuit or Cereal, Fruit, Milk or Juice
Lunch – Hamburger (or Cheese) on Bun, Fries, Fruit, Milk
Alternate – Hot Dog on Bun

Dismissal Times: All PHS students will be dismissed daily at 3:15 p.m. If you need to pick up your student(s) earlier than 3:15 p.m., please let the office know at 660-841-5296.

PTO Movie Night: The PHS PTO is planning a Movie Night for Friday, Sept. 17th with the doors opening at 6:30p.m. and the movie “Peter Rabbit 2” will start at 7:00 p.m.

Counselor’s Corner: If you have a student(s) that you want to see the counselor, Mr. Neal, for individual meetings, please follow these steps to fill out the referral form:
           1. Go to prairiehome.k12.mo.us
           2. Click on the Counselor Resources tab.
           3. Click on Counselor’s Corner and on the top of the page you will find the School Counseling Referral form. Click on that and it will take you to the online form.

School Pictures: School pictures will be taken by Interstate Studio on Monday, Oct. 4th . Picture retakes are scheduled for Monday, Dec. 13th.

Breakfast and Lunch Cost: The free breakfasts and lunches for all students have been extended throughout the 2021-2022 school year. If they want to buy “extras”, those will be charged to the student. A small extra is .75 and a large extra is $1.00.

Student Pick-Up: If you need to change your student’s plans for the end of the day (they will be picked up, need to ride a different bus, etc.) please call the school office before 1:00 p.m. to make those changes.

Medication: All medication, both over-the-counter as well as prescription, must be given to the school nurse. Serious consequences may result if a student is found with any drugs including over the counter or prescription. First offense may result in 10 days of O.S.S. Over-the-counter or prescription drugs may not be kept in purses, pockets, book bags, lockers or anywhere else on school grounds. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Simmons at 660-841-

Food Service: Please be sure and keep your student’s Food Service accounts up to date. Account balance summaries will be sent home every Friday (if your student has a negative balance it will be in parentheses). If a student’s balance is negative, they will not be allowed “extras”. If your student’s balance falls negative more than $5.00, they will be eating a cheese sandwich (for which they will not be charged) and milk (for which they will be charged.)

Tuesday, Sept. 7th Baseball vs. New Bloomfield (Home Game) 5:00 p.m.
                Volleyball @ Sacred Heart – Sedalia (The bus will leave at 4:15 p.m.) 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 9th Baseball vs. Jamestown (Home Game) 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 11th Cross Country @ Father Tolton - Columbia (The bus will leave at 7:15 a.m.) 8:30 a.m.
             Volleyball @ Columbia Independent Tournament 8:30 a.m.  (Team will meet at PHS at 7:00 a.m. & the bus will leave at 7:15 a.m.)
