July 1st, 2021

Dear Parents/Guardians/Community Members

I would like to update everyone on our new hires for the 2021-2022 school year. We had officially announced two new teachers in April 2021, Dustin Ray - PE teacher/Athletic Director and Nichole Bruce - 1st grade. We are pleased to announce that we have hired Samuel Fessehaye to be K-12 Music Teacher and Pam Holbrook to be HS/JH English Teacher.

Nichole Bruce graduated from Halfway High School in Halfway, MO. She will receive her Bachelor's degree from William Woods University and is currently finishing her student teaching at Jamestown. She is looking at starting to work on her Master degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Dustin Ray graduated from Boonville High School in Boonville, MO. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Central Methodist and is currently working on his Specialist in Administration from Northwest Missouri State University. Most of us know Dustin from coaching the girls sports at Bunceton where he is currently teaching PE.

Samuel Fessehaye graduated from Battle High School in Columbia, MO. He received his Bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri. He did his student teaching in the Ashland School District last school year and was the assistant band director of the Middle/High School.

Pam Holbrook graduated from Fleming High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Central Missouri. She has worked at Calhoun and LaMonte School Districts as English teacher.

We are excited to have these individuals join our Prairie Home team and look forward to working with them!

Proud to be a Panther!

Scott Gemes, Superintendent
