We are currently in Category 1 of our COVID-19 Guidelines & Protocols Re-Entry Plan. All Students are strongly encouraged to wear masks while at school which includes the hallways, school buses, classrooms and any area where social distancing is not possible.

Last Day of School/Early Dismissal: Our last day of school is on Tuesday, May 18th and will be an early dismissal at 12:30 p.m.

Medications: Please pick up your students medications before Tuesday; we cannot keep them at school.

Graduation: Our Graduation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16th . This ceremony will recognize and honor our seniors and our 8th graders.

Academic Awards: Congratulations to all students and Mrs. Stidham on their honors at last night’s  Academic Awards. Mrs. Stidham received the Honorary Panther Award.

Congratulations: Congratulations to our FFA Proficiency Award Winners: Allen Haslag, Tripp Kendrick, Paiton Williams, and Dakota Kuester. CDE TEM Award Winners are: Tripp Kendrick, Allen Haslag, Preston Scheidt, Will Wright, Paiton Williams, Caroline Rhode and Kelcy Mullett. Advanced Prepared Public Speaking: Shaye Siegel. Fall Speaking: Shaye Siegel and Dakota Kuester. Trap Shooting Awards: Tripp Kendrick, Shaye Siegel, Caroline Rhode, Paiton Williams and Allen Haslag. Booster Club Scholarship: Shaye Siegel. SAE Grant Recipient: Caroline Rhode. Star Chapter Farmer: Dakota Kuester. Outstanding Freshman: Kelcy Mullett. Outstanding Senior: Shaye Siegel. Congratulations: Congratulations to the H.S Track Team members who placed at District Track and are moving forward to Sectionals: Allison Simmons, Blane Petsel, Ryan Small and Savanna Tracy.

Negative Balance Food Service Accounts: Due to the rapidly approaching end of the school year, as of Monday, May 3rd those students with a negative food service account balance will not be allowed to receive “extras” until funds are placed in their accounts. All positive balances will roll forward into the 2021-2022 school year. Thank you for your attention to this matter. It is much appreciated!

Immunizations: If you have received a letter from Nina Simmons, our health aide, please be sure and get your student(s) updated on their immunizations over the summer.

Student Pick-Up: If you need to change your student’s plans for the end of the day (they will be picked up, need to ride a different bus, etc.) please call the school office before 1:00 p.m. to make those changes.

Medication: All medication, both over-the-counter as well as prescription, must be given to the school health aide. Serious consequences may result if a student is found with any drugs including over the counter or prescription. First offense may result in 10 days of O.S.S. Over-the-counter or prescription drugs may not be kept in purses, pockets, book bags, lockers or anywhere else on school grounds. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Simmons at 660-841-5296.

Food Service: Please be sure and keep your student’s Food Service accounts up to date. Account balance summaries will be sent home every Friday (if your student has a negative balance it will be in parentheses). If a student’s balance is negative, they will not be allowed “extras”. If your student’s balance falls negative more than $5.00, they will be eating a cheese sandwich (for which they will not be charged) and milk (for which they will be charged.)

           District Baseball @ Pilot Grove PHS/BHS vs. Sacred Heart 5:00 p.m.   (The bus will leave at 3:30 p.m.)
