April 16, 2021

Breakfast/Lunch for Monday:
Breakfast – Chicken Patty on Bun or Cereal, Fresh Fruit, Milk or Juice
Lunch – Cheese Sticks w/Sauce, Baby Carrots, Fruit, Milk

Delivery of Food & Drinks to Students: All deliveries of food and drinks must come through the front door by the office and during the lunch hour. This is becoming a big issue with security of all of our students, sanitation issues and disruption of classes. We only have 23 more days of school, let’s all help and keep these pleasant last days of the school year.

Great Job: Great Job to our H.S. track team on their performance yesterday at the Westran Relays. Congratulations to those receiving medals: Savanna Tracy – 3rd in the 1600 m, Ryan Small – 10th in the 100m hurdles which was a team record, and Blane Petsel – 3rd in the 400m. Great job everyone!!

Good Luck: Good Luck to our Panther J.H. Track Team as they participate in a track meet today at CMU at 4:00 p.m. The bus will leave at 2:15 p.m. Good Luck to our Panthers/Dragons Softball team as they play at Sweet Springs today at 5:00 p.m. The bus will leave at 3:00 p.m. Good Luck to our Varsity Panthers/Dragons Baseball team as they play Higbee today at Prairie Home at 4:30 p.m.

Tuscumbia Baseball Game Rescheduled: The Tuscumbia Baseball game has been rescheduled to Friday, April 23rd at Prairie Home. The game will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Russellville Track Meet: PHS will not attend the Russellville Invitational that had been rescheduled to Saturday, April 17th.

Sophomore Class Fundraiser: The sophomore class is holding a raffle for a hand knitted afghan. This “one of a kind” afghan features orange and black squares with bursts of red on each square. If you would like to participate in this event, tickets are $1.00 per ticket or $5.00 for 6 tickets. Individuals wanting to buy a ticket can talk to any sophomore, or tickets will be available at any Home Baseball Game. All proceeds will go to the sophomore class for Prom & Graduation expenses. Tickets go on sale March 29th and the raffle will end on April 30th. The drawing will be held on May 3rd and the winner will be notified to pick up their “one of a kind” afghan.

Yearbook 2021-2022: If you are interested in joining the Yearbook Class next year, please see Mrs. Nave to pick up an application and return the application to her by the last day of school.

Water Bottles: Students, please deposit your water bottles in the proper waste container in the hallways. These are causing a lot of extra work for our custodians and they have plenty of work to do without adding more to it. Please be aware and respectful and place your trash in the proper places.

Breakfast: Due to state regulations, all students who are having breakfast must take at least 3 items: Milk, Juice or Fruit and the Hot Entrée or Cereal. Please try and follow this rule, because if you do not take a complete breakfast you will have to be charged for “extras”
