We will do a Senior recognition at the beginning of tonight's baseball game to kick off the season. This is not a regular Senior night, it will still be held in the Spring. Prairie Home has no restrictions for spectators. Please follow social distancing guidelines.

We are excited for the start of school tomorrow, Aug. 26th. Building opens for students at 7:30am to go to class. Please only students enter the building. Breakfast served 7:30-7:50. Classes begin at 8am. Reminder to bring water bottle and mask as they are strongly encouraged.
Update on microwave usage: We are going to allow microwaves for now, but there will be limited amount of time for students not eating in cafeteria. We will have hand sanitizer next to the microwaves that students need to use before and after using microwave. After the 1st week, we will review the procedure and might need to change it.

Prairie Home old basketball scoreboards are for sale. They do not work. We are wanting them gone quickly. Please contact the office starting Monday, Aug 24th with a bid for them. We will close the bids on Thursday, August 27th. The boards will need to picked up by Sept 4th.
We have been going through details of lunch. We trying to figure out microwave usage. There is a chance that we will have limited microwave usage for students, but we will give out more details on Monday.

Registration for High School students has gone extremely well this week. A special thank you and kudos to our new Counselor Cory Neal. He, along with Karma and Mrs. Paulson were instrumental in everything running so smoothly. Next week all K through 8th grade students will be registering on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 to 4:00. Fall athletic practices for Prairie Home School will begin on Monday, August 10th. Cross Country - 7:00 to 8:00 a.m., Volleyball - 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. and Baseball - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. All athletes must have a current physical (done last year or this summer) but Student & Parent agreement form and health insurance form must be updated annually.

A private funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 25th. The family looks forward to seeing any former co-workers, students, parents, and community members who can make it for visitation.
