Mr. David Heeb, Superintendent
About Mr. Heeb:
This is my 17th year in education. I have been a teacher, athletic director, coach, and principal prior to being the superintendent at Prairie Home. I have coached basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, and track. My favorite sport to coach was basketball, The teams I coached in high school made three trips to the state Final Four and won two State Championships. I was also a head basketball coach at Robert Morris University in Springfield, IL.
I have a master's degree and a specialist's degree from William Woods University. I have three children: Kara (19), Lani (11), and Trey (10). I also have three younger brothers, two younger sisters, and 11 nieces and nephews.
My favorite things in the world are my kids, basketball, and music. I like all kinds of music, but my favorite kind is country music. I run a website called "Just Win Today" where I recruit people to spread positive stories, ideas, and quotes. I really enjoy the way the site connects total strangers and offers encouragement to people.
